Cher Lloyd on Wonderland shoot as X Factor Live tour winds down By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn06 April 2011

The X Factor Live tour is finally drawing to a close this week, with a series of dates in Cardiff that will see the ex-contestants perform in front of 30,000 people over the course of the six-night stint.

This year’s tour has been a staggering success, with over 250,000 tickets sold to date, and audience favourite Cher Lloyd has just appeared in a photo shoot for magazine Wonderland, to put the icing on the cake.

Cher, who jetted off to Los Angeles earlier this year to work on tracks for her debut album, sports a more demure look than usual in the shoot, ditching the baggy sportswear in favour of pearls, a simple white blouse and a sophisticated blue satin shirt.

The 17-year-old singer opened up about her new flame-haired image, which has been likened to pop rivals Cheryl Cole and Rihanna: “I wanted something that would sort of represent me, that’s fiery and outgoing. So I thought a bit of a red would do me good. I want to get my nose pierced too. I want to go for something completely different. I’d just like people to see me as me. What’s the point in comparing?”

Don’t worry Cher, we love your style. X Factor Live tickets are still on sale for the final dates at Cardiff’s International Arena. The X Factor Live tour will be coming to a spectacular end in just four day’s time, so don’t miss out on your chance to see Cher and co. live and loud on stage!

X Factor Live tickets are available to buy and sell at Seatwave.

Rebecca Ferguson to perform at Aintree following X Factor Live tour By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn05 April 2011

Soulful Rebecca Ferguson, who is currently performing on the X Factor Live tour, has been confirmed to star as a headliner on Ladies Night at Aintree. The set, which takes place on Friday 13th May, will reportedly feature some of the show-stopping numbers that made Rebecca an early favourite in last year’s X Factor competition.

Ferguson will be performing at the famous Red Rum Garden to kick off the evening’s celebrations following the races. The 24-year-old singer from Anfield told the Liverpool Echo:

“I am really looking forward to catching up with friends and performing to a home crowd again. I cannot wait to perform at Ladies Night. It should be a really good night for racegoers.”

The show promises to be a hugely stylish event and a valuable introduction to performing solo for the singer, who has had the company of her fellow ex-contestants on the X Factor Live tour for the past few months. No doubt Ladies Night will be just the start of bigger things for Rebecca, who has reportedly been signed to Simon Cowell’s Syco label.

If you would like to see Rebecca and co. live on stage, don’t miss your chance to get tickets for the 2011 X Factor Live tour. X Factor Live tickets won’t be on sale for much longer, as the show is nearing the end of the road, with just a few more dates scheduled at Cardiff’s International Arena.

Only one week of the X Factor Live tour still to go! By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn04 April 2011

It seems like just yesterday that Matt Cardle and One Direction battled it out on stage for the X Factor winners’ title, and yet here we are several months later, with the X Factor Live tour already nearing the end of the road.

The ex-contestants have sold thousands of tickets, wowing audiences up and down the UK, and are now in Wales to perform the last of their shows at the Cardiff International Arena. So what’s next for last year’s pop hopefuls? Well, both Mary Byrne and Katie Waissel have already released their debut albums, and Katie reportedly has plans for a string of performances in the US.

Soulful Paije Richardson will be providing half-time entertainment at the women’s FA Cup final in May and winner Matt Cardle will be working on his album, as will runners-up One Direction and Cher Lloyd, who have netted themselves lucrative record deals. As for Wagner, we anticipate that he has a bright future in cruise ship entertainment.

The fate of the upcoming series of X Factor is still in some doubt, as the judging panel has yet to be finalised. If the latest reports are to be believed, then Simon and Cheryl will be appearing as judges only at the live show stages, whilst Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue will return – possibly flanked by Lily Allen or Gary Barlow.

Whatever happens, this year’s competition is guaranteed to be a corker. X Factor Live tickets are currently on sale for the final tour dates in Cardiff, so don’t miss your chance to see all your favourites from the last series live on stage. The X Factor Live tour will be wrapping up on Sunday 10th April.

X Factor Live tickets are available to buy and sell at Seatwave.

Katie Waissel talks about the X Factor Live tour experience By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn01 April 2011

Katie Waissel is currently on the road around the UK on the X Factor Live tour, but recently found time in her busy schedule to chat to the press about the whole whirlwind experience.

Speaking about the tour, which features performances from ex-contestants Rebecca Ferguson, One Direction, Cher Lloyd, Mary Byrne, Wagner, Paije Richardson, Aiden Grimshaw and winner Matt Cardle, she said:

“The show is very diverse. There are high energy dance numbers, intimate ballads; it’s a big old eclectic mix. We’re all really different as artists, so there’s plenty of variety. There are lots of pyrotechnics and visually it’s stunning, it’s the ultimate family show.”

Katie also spoke about her future career plans, once the X Factor Live tour has drawn to a close:

“There are just a couple of weeks left now which is really sad, I don’t want it to end, we’re like one big family! We’ve had the opportunity to play at some amazing venues and there are some really amazing ones still to come. After the tour I’m looking forward to promoting my album, to continue writing and to perform my own material.”

Make sure you get tickets to see the show before Katie and her fellow stars-in-training part ways. X Factor Live tickets are currently on sale for upcoming dates in Glasgow and Cardiff, where the journey will come to a spectacular end on April 10th.

Cheryl Cole BB rumours emerge as X Factor Live tour continues By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn31 March 2011

The 2011 X Factor Live tour is currently in full swing, with thousands of tickets sold at packed out arenas, but the future of the hit music talent show is in some doubt this week, as fresh speculation has surfaced about Cheryl Cole’s role on the judging panel.

In recent weeks there have been reports that Cheryl is vying for a place on the panel for the U.S. version of the show, seeking to follow in Simon Cowell’s footsteps and launch her career stateside. However, a source has told the Daily Star that the singer’s ambitions are quite different. Allegedly, Cole is being lined up as a possible presenter for Channel 5’s Big Brother reboot.

The source said: “It really is true. Big Brother looks certain to return – bigger, brighter and more shocking than ever before. As part of that deal we want to get a really big name involved as the host and they don’t come any bigger than Cheryl. We’re confident she can be tempted away from Simon with the offer of fronting the most-talked about show of the year.”

Whether or not this is true remains to be seen – and in the meantime, we have the X Factor Live tour to keep us entertained. X Factor Live tickets are currently on sale for dates at venues in Aberdeen, Glasgow and Cardiff, so don’t miss out on your chance to see last series’ acts perform live on tour.

Mary Byrne gives revealing new interview whilst on X Factor Live tour By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn30 March 2011

X Factor star Mary Byrne, who is currently performing around the UK on the 2011 X Factor Live tour, recently gave a tell-all interview to New! magazine, spilling the beans on all sorts of juicy gossip. Among other things, the former Tesco checkout worker from Dublin revealed that she used to have a crush on high-waisted music mogul Simon Cowell:

“He’s a good man. He has the most dreamy eyes when you get close to him. I always looked at him and thought, “Yeah, he’s attractive.” But one day, I was sitting talking to him in his office and I said, “You know what, Simon? You’re gorgeous.” And he said, “I know. Thank you.”

The singer also divulged that she wouldn’t consider getting a gastric band and that she’s lost half a stone since her time on the hit musical talent show. Putting paid to tabloid rumours; she also spoke about her alleged ‘lesbian affair’:

“A long time ago, in my early twenties, I had a fleeting relationship with a woman and she came out of the woodwork to say, “I know Mary Byrne – she’s a lesbian.” Which was totally not true… it was just a one-off thing.”

Personal life aside, one thing is certain: Mary has a killer set of pipes, so if you want to see her perform live on stage, get your X Factor Live tickets for the 2011 tour now. The X Factor Live tour is nearing the end of its run, with a few shows left in Aberdeen, Cardiff and Glasgow to come, so don’t miss out on your chance to get tickets!

Wagner and Matt Cardle reconcile on the X Factor Live tour By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn28 March 2011

The 2011 X Factor Live tour has brought all the ex-contestants closer together, according to reports. Dublin’s Mary Byrne, who wowed viewers with her powerful pipes on the last series, has revealed that winner Matt Cardle and the eccentric Wagner have kissed and made up on tour, after initial friction.

Mary, who is due to release her debut album Mine and Yours this week, told the Daily Mail: “We’re all much closer than we were in the competition. Winner Matt Cardle is buying Wagner pints, which we never thought would happen as he hated him.”

Fans that got their X Factor Live tickets for the shows in Newcastle last week were treated to an evening of great entertainment, according to a recent review in the Chronicle newspaper:

“Big voices, big production values and an even bigger crowd – X Factor fever once more has the North East in its grip… It was pure, slick, unashamedly cheesy entertainment from beginning to end. Matt said the contestants were “having the time of our lives”. And last night, so did we.”

The 2011 X Factor Live tour will be drawing to a spectacular close in April, but there are still upcoming shows in Aberdeen, Glasgow and Cardiff, so don’t miss out on your chance to get tickets to see last year’s talent perform live on stage. X Factor Live tickets are available to buy and sell at Seatwave.

Jeff Brazier gives his verdict on the X Factor Live tour By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn26 March 2011

Jeff Brazier, former X Factor Live tour host has said that One Direction are the act that most impressed him on the tour, which has sold thousands of tickets and is currently playing at arenas across the country.

“The overall biggest shock of the night was how hard One Direction have clearly worked since the show because they were fantastic! They got the most love from the crowd and deserved every swoon.” he commented, generously adding:

“Katie Waissel is genuinely a lovely person with a great attitude, the Matt and Aiden bromance is still in full swing and the lovely Rebecca manages to keep up with her children by having them down to the tour every weekend.”

Rebecca Ferguson sparked controversy recently, after rumours circulated the press that she might be romantically involved with One Direction’s Zain Malik. The News Of The World reported that the pair have grown close on the tour, and could even be dating. At 24, Rebecca is six years older than Zain, 18. Adding fuel to the gossip fire, Rebecca recently posted this rather cryptic tweet:

“Happiness Is the outcome of accepting yourself, not seeking approval of other people but loving who you are. #liveforyou”

Witness all the performances, action and intrigue from the front row by getting your X Factor Live tickets. The X Factor Live tour is on the road until April, with shows at some of the UK’s biggest arenas, so don’t miss out! X Factor Live tickets are available to buy and sell at Seatwave.

Myleene Klass goes to see the X Factor Live tour – to induce labour! By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn24 March 2011

Heavily pregnant Myleene Klass recently took her 3-year-old daughter Ava to see an X Factor Live tour show at London’s O2 arena, in the hopes of starting labour. Klass, who originally rose to fame on TV talent show Popstars (an early incarnation of X Factor) later tweeted to fans, who have been following her pregnancy:

“Thought the thumping bass would kick start labour. Nada. Ava loving “the girl with the red hair”, Cher. #XFactortour”

The X Factor Live tour might not have had quite the desired effect for Myleene, but at least daughter Ava enjoyed Cher Lloyd’s stage antics.

In other news, rumours have been circulating in the press that X Factor winner Matt Cardle has started seeing dancer Sarah Robinson whilst on tour. According to reports, Sarah has been writing amorous tweets referring to a mystery ‘Sheridan’ – which is in fact Matt’s middle name. A source told the Sun:

“Sarah and Matt had a code word so they didn’t get rumbled. She was worried it wouldn’t last because of his career but three months on it’s getting stronger.”

Let’s just hope the pair don’t collide over the exposure of their budding romance! X Factor Live tickets are currently on sale for shows across the UK, so be sure to get your tickets before the tour comes to an end in April.

X Factor Live performances: the top five By: Iain MacRitchie24 March 2011

The X Factor has grown to behemoth proportions over the years, opening the door for huge acts like Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke and JLS. The show uncovered some more brilliant acts in 2010, most of which are currently on the X Factor Live tour.

Just in case you need your memory nudged back to last winter, where you spent every weekend biting your nails over the array of wonderful, spine-tingling performances, here’s a reminder of the top five live performances from acts appearing on the tour:

          1 – Rebecca Ferguson – Sweet Dreams

Rebecca Ferguson faced criticism for a lack of physicality on stage during her time on the show. However, her performance of the Eurhythmics’ hit ‘Sweet Dreams’ slapped the critics in the face with a treble clef and left them speechless. Starting off in true Ferguson style, she opened up with promise of a ballad, only for us to be thrust into an electro-dance laser light show.

2- Matt Cardle – First Time Ever I Saw Your Face

X Factor 2010 winner Matt Cardle sang the Roberta Flack classic beautifully. His voice reaches a pitch you would not think possible from a male. A stunning performance from a talented singer.

3- Aiden Grimshaw – Mad World

Aiden is a uniquely talented singer, belting out songs with a charming eccentricity. His performance of ‘Mad World’ in the first live show was eye opening, instantly making him a memorable contestant.

          4- One Direction – Torn

Natalie Imbruglia would have been delighted with the teen boy-band’s rendition of her most successful song. For such a young band they developed maturity in their sound through the course of the show, making them a ‘sure thing’ for the final.

The boys have earned themselves a huge following, as demonstrated by reports of Beatlemania-type displays of hysteria from fans on the X Factor Live tour.

5- Katie Waissell – King of the Swingers

One of the most bizarre surprises was this rendition of the Jungle Book classic. This got Katie through a week without being in the bottom two, probably because it was a fantastically fun and daring choice.

If you loved watching last year’s contestants perform on the box, why not get X Factor Live tickets and see them on tour? The X Factor Live tour is currently stopping off at venues across the country, with upcoming dates in Nottingham, Aberdeen, Cardiff and more.  X Factor Live tickets are available to buy and sell at Seatwave.

X Factor stars step out in London for meet and greet whilst on tour By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn24 March 2011

The 2011 X Factor Live tour has been lighting up the stage at London’s O2 arena this week, and Matt Cardle, Mary Byrne, Paije Richardson, Wagner, Cher Lloyd, Aiden Grimshaw, Katie Waissel and One Direction all attended a meet and greet with fans before last Sunday’s show (20th March).

The acts were pictured on the red carpet before the event looking like bona fide pop stars – yes, even Wagner, who was immaculately turned out in a checked shirt and fashionable black brogues, posing next to a mature-looking flame-haired Cher Lloyd. Katie Waissel, who has just released her debut album, recently spoke about the X Factor Live tour experience:

“This is what we all entered the show for in the first place – to go out and perform. It’s really exciting; we’ve been to some fantastic places, and have loads more exciting places still to go. Going on tour, I didn’t really know what to expect; it’s long days, long nights, but really great fun. We’ve got a great atmosphere going on tour.”

X Factor Live tickets are currently on sale for dates across the UK, at arenas in Newcastle, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Cardiff and more. The tour will be drawing to a spectacular close in April, so don’t miss out on the chance to get tickets to see all your favourite acts from last series perform live together, before they all jet off to pursue their solo projects.

One Direction inspire thousands of X Factor hopefuls By: Iain MacRitchie24 March 2011

With the immense success of JLS and now the imminent chart comet that is One Direction, there has been a wave of hopeful groups at the 2011 X Factor auditions. According to the Sun, 18,000 acts have auditioned in London alone and out of that figure, an astounding 1,000 are groups.

It seems the boyband bug isn’t wearing off anytime soon. The prides of Britain popped to L.A for a recording session on their debut album, only to be swarmed by adoring fans when they arrived home at Heathrow airport back in January. They’re now promoting their official One Direction autobiography which went on sale in late February, and getting set for their debut album’s release later this year.

The buzz that surrounds the boys during their day to day lives has translated directly to the X Factor Live tour, with fans clamouring for tickets – and a chance to see the group in the flesh. The tour began earlier this month and features performances from X Factor contestants such as Rebecca Ferguson, Katie Waissel and winner Matt Cardle.

The boys will perform covers that were done during the X Factor live shows, from their rendition of Bonnie Tyler’s ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’ to Natalie Imbruglia’s ‘Torn’. The show will highlight the journey the youngsters have been on, from inexperienced, nervous teenagers to confident, commanding superstars.

X Factor Live tickets sold fast, probably owing to the array of talent on display on this year’s tour, which surpasses that of previous years. Although past contestants such as Alexandra Burke and Leona Lewis were startlingly gifted, there is a trend of uniqueness laced through the line up of this year’s live tour. The energy exuded from a band like One Direction is likely to continue to spark the dreams of thousands more hopeful teens, directing them to stardom.

Paije Richardson to perform at women’s FA Cup final following X Factor Live tour By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn18 March 2011

Paije Richardson, who is currently travelling the country on the 2011 X Factor Live tour, will be entertaining crowds at halftime at the women’s FA Cup final later this year. The milestone event will be taking place on Saturday 21st May at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

The 20-year-old singer wowed audiences with his soulful vocals in last year’s X Factor competition, almost making it to the finals before being eliminated in week 7 after finding himself in the bottom two against Cher Lloyd.

Paije said: “I’m really looking forward to singing at the FA Women’s Cup Final. It’s such an honour for me to have the chance to perform at such a big and important event, especially as it’s certain to be a great day of top quality entertainment and I’d love to see a capacity crowd at the Ricoh Arena cheering on the teams and enjoying the atmosphere.”

Sue Hough, Chair of The FA Women’s Committee, added, in a glowing endorsement: “We’re delighted that Paije is performing at the final this year, adding musical entertainment to the proceedings, making it an even better value for money day out.”

If you enjoyed watching Paije and the rest of the finalists performing on TV, why not buy tickets to see the X Factor Live tour! The tour is stopping off at venues across the UK and will conclude in April, so don’t miss out on your chance to grab some X Factor Live tickets before they disappear.

Cher Lloyd tucks into chips on the X Factor Live tour By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn17 March 2011

17-year-old firecracker Cher Lloyd has been spotted enjoying one of Brighton’s specialities whilst on the X Factor Live tour: large portions of chips. Cher was snapped taking time out of her busy tour schedule in comfy sportswear, walking along the seafront and tucking into some chips – which she then kindly shared with fans.

The diminutive singer has faced criticism in the past over her slight figure, with the press speculating that she may have an eating disorder. Cher has been quick to deny these rumours – and the proof does seem to be in the pudding. Or the chips, in this case. Cher told the Sun:

“My big insecurity is that I am too small. I see girls with curves and I’d do anything to be like that. I’m trying. I eat all the time. I like a full-on Chinese, everything covered in sweet and sour sauce – with chips! I could eat that every day.”

In an amusing turn of events, Cher (as in Sonny & Cher) recently tweeted enquiring about Cher Lloyd’s identity: “who or What is Cher Lloyd ?” After receiving a slew of replies, the Believe superstar then tweeted in response: “ok,got Cher Lloyd,I guess I live in a cave. No Disrespect meant !”

Love Cher Lloyd? Why not get some X Factor Live tickets and see her perform on tour! The X Factor Live tour is currently playing at venues across the UK, with tickets on sale for upcoming shows in Aberdeen, London, Cardiff and more.

Katie Waissel takes time out of X Factor Live tour to go for a tarot reading By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn16 March 2011

The X Factor Live tour is in Brighton this week, and ex-contestant Katie Waissel has been snapped around the seaside town visiting its many quirky boutiques – as well as leaving the old fashioned Fortune Teller’s caravan on the pier.

Perhaps Katie could put in a word with the fortune teller about the mystery surrounding the judging panel for the upcoming American version of X Factor. The final line-up still hasn’t been revealed, though Simon Cowell has made several cryptic statements.

“It will be the best judging panel so far. I promise you: If I get the people I want, I’m really happy. It’s going to be a balance between guys and girls, and it should be a balance between people who have been singers and also, like me, have worked behind the scenes and know what they’re talking about” he told MTV News.

“I’ve got it in my mind now. I think of who I want this panel to be, and within the week, I think we’re going to announce it.”

The judging panel for the next UK X Factor series is also being kept under wraps, though there has been speculation in the press that Simon and Cheryl Cole might not be part of it. Maybe we should consult our tea leaves.

Whatever the outcome, the 2011 X Factor Live tour is currently storming arenas around the country, so don’t miss out on the chance to get tickets to see all your favourites from last series. X Factor Live tickets are on sale for upcoming gigs in London, Newcastle, Cardiff and more.

Cher Lloyd receives unwanted attention on the X Factor Live tour By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn15 March 2011

Cher Lloyd, who is currently performing around the country on the 2011 X Factor Live tour, has been targeted by an overzealous fan, according to reports. 17-year-old Cher is said to be disturbed by increasingly stalker-like behaviour from the male fan, who has been sending her unwanted gifts in the form of flowers and teddy bears.

A source told the Daily Star: “Cher’s really freaked out and nervous about the unwanted attention from the fan. She’s constantly looking over her shoulder to see who is watching.”

The pint-sized singer from Malvern will be performing on the X Factor Live tour until 10th April, before resuming work on her debut album, which is already listed for pre-order on Amazon. Here’s hoping she ditches the stalker before then!

Fellow ex-contestant Katie Waissel has just released her debut album, which was already recorded in the US before she appeared on X Factor. Katie has said that she plans to tour on the other side of the pond whilst the American version of the show is airing. She told the Daily Star:

“I’m planning on going out to America while The X Factor is on out there. It would be fun to coincide with it.”

Get your X Factor Live tickets before the tour draws to a close on April 10th. There are tickets available for upcoming shows at venues across the UK, including Glasgow, London, Brighton and Cardiff. Buy and sell your X Factor Live tickets at Seatwave.

Katie Waissel releases debut album whilst on X Factor Live tour By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn14 March 2011

Ex-X Factor contestant Katie Waissel has released her self-titled debut album. The singer tweeted a link to the cover art, which depicts her gazing dreamily out of a window sporting pearls, a headscarf and bright red lipstick.

Katie is currently performing on the 2011 X Factor Live tour along with the rest of last year’s former hopefuls – Wagner, Rebecca Ferguson, Cher Lloyd, One Direction, Paije Richardson and series winner Matt Cardle. Tickets for the tour, which will draw to a close in April, are currently on sale.

The future of X Factor has been cast into some doubt, following recent reports speculating that ITV bosses are planning on postponing the next series until 2012. The show could potentially be pushed back several months to accommodate Simon Cowell’s US X Factor schedule, enabling him to appear on the judging panel on both sides of the pond.

A host of celebrities have been touted as replacements for Simon and Cheryl Cole, including Katy Perry, Robbie Williams and Nicole Scherzinger of Pussycat Dolls fame. Nicole told Heart radio:

“I’ve put a lot of thought into it. I had my reservations because it’s such a huge commitment but I think I would like to do it if it was meant to be. If it’s supposed to work out, then it will – that’s how I feel about it. We’ll see. I’m a strong believer in everything is meant to be for a reason.”

Whatever happens in 2012, this year’s X Factor Live tour has proven to be a great success so far. Get your X Factor Live tickets and watch last year’s favourites strut their stuff on tour at venues across the UK. X Factor Live tickets are available to buy and sell at Seatwave.

X Factor Live tour wows crowds – and auditions hit Glasgow By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn11 March 2011

The X Factor Live tour has been whipping crowds into a frenzy at venues across the country, with acts from last series starting to establish themselves as artists in their own right. Both Cher Lloyd and One Direction have signed record deals with music mogul Simon Cowell and already have debut albums in the works.

All eyes are looking towards the next series of the hit talent show, however, as first-round auditions arrived in Glasgow this week. Over 3,000 performers reportedly turned up for trials at Glasgow’s SECC, with queues getting off to an early start at 6am.

Presenter Dermot O’Leary fired up the fresh meat with some motivational words: “Let’s get you inside, hear you sing, get you through to the next round, then boot camp, then judges’ houses and finally the live shows.”

Ex-contestant Katie Waissel has been busy on the X Factor Live tour, and also with planning a US tour and promoting her self-titled debut album, which will be released on 14th March. So, what can fans expect from the offering? Katie told the Daily Star:

“I was lucky enough to work with people who have written with Adele, Amy Winehouse and James Blunt. I’m really into live recordings in terms of the entire band being together in the room at the same time.”

Rebecca Ferguson shines on the X Factor Live tour By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn11 March 2011

The 2011 X Factor Live tour began its conquest of the UK’s arenas last month, and reviews have consistently mentioned three things so far: Cher Lloyd’s new hairstyle, the overwhelming crowd reaction received by boy band One Direction and Rebecca Ferguson’s classy performances

The tour recently stopped off in Liverpool – Rebecca’s hometown, and therefore of particular significance to the 24-year-old singer, who called it a “dream come true”. Her performance certainly seemed to resonate with the hundreds who bagged tickets for the event, as a review in the Liverpool Echo singled her out for praise:

“Hometown hero Rebecca made every song her own. Glowing with new confidence, she belted out dance anthem Show Me Love and Adele’s Make You Feel My Love, showing off those shapely legs in a tiny mini-dress and silver cape. Later returning for Sweet Dreams and Like A Star, the song she sang at boot camp, she showed just how far she’s come.”

Rebecca was one of Cheryl Cole’s favourites on last year’s series of the hit talent show, but it’s unclear if Cheryl will be appearing on the judging panel in the next series. Rumours have indicated that the Girls Aloud star might be travelling across the pond to work on X Factor US, but AOL Music recently reported that this is not the case – as FOX bosses reportedly feel that she is not a ‘big enough name’.

The 2011 X Factor Live tour will continue into April, so catch it while you can. X Factor Live tickets are still available for dates in Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff, London and other cities. Buy and sell your X Factor Live tickets at Seatwave.

Katie Waissel and Cher Lloyd enjoy themselves on the X Factor Live tour By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn11 March 2011

Katie Waissel was snapped out on the town this week in Liverpool, where she’s been performing along with her fellow ex-contestants on the 2011 X Factor Live tour, which has sold thousands of tickets to date. The singer reportedly went clubbing at student nightspot Bumper with DJ friend James Massing – sparking rumours that the pair might be dating.

An enthusiastic Katie tweeted whilst out: ‘At bumper with the gorgeous @djjamesmassing rock on Liverpool!!’

Meanwhile, the tabloids’ rampant obsession with Cher Lloyd’s barnet continues, as the 17-year-old singer was pictured sporting a new feathery ‘Mohican’ style that has divided opinions. Another of Cher’s looks – a messy bun on top of her head – generated almost universal criticism for being ‘grannyish’.

X Factor judge Simon Cowell also made the headlines this week, after hitting out at Sir Elton John over criticisms of the reality talent show. Simon spoke to TV talk show host Piers Morgan: “They always bleat on that we’re not giving other people a chance. And I always want to say to them, ‘I tell you what, you just made a million dollars off your last private gig. Go and give it to a bunch of young musicians you care about, put them in the studio. Go and nurture them. Go and spend some time looking after them. Then I’ll buy your argument.’ They’re only worried about themselves.” Meow.

Rumours of diva antics from Cher Lloyd on the X Factor Live tour By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn08 March 2011

Cher Lloyd has been displaying some classic diva behaviour on the X Factor Live tour, according to a recent report from AOL Music. An insider source spoke to Star magazine about the 17-year-old sensation from Malvern:

“It’s as if Cher thinks she’s too big for this tour. She struts around like she owns the stage. It makes the other singers so angry – they barely speak to her. She seems to have let it all go to her head and has been acting like a total diva.”

Cher has plenty of reasons to celebrate, having managed to secure a record deal under Simon Cowell’s label Syco. The teen singer recently flew out to the US to meet with high-profile producers including will.I.am and RedOne, who has previously worked with global superstar Lady Gaga. Cher’s debut album will be released on August 22nd and is already available for pre-order on Amazon.

All of this controversy hasn’t deterred anyone from buying X Factor Live tickets of course – and a recent Guardian review praised Lloyd’s ‘star quality’: “17-year-old opener Cher Lloyd bounces around the stage dressed like a mini version of her mentor Cheryl Cole… and a stripped-down version of Shakespeare’s Sister’s Stay is genuinely touching.”

Diva or not, we may never know – but we do know that Cher is giving great performances on the 2011 X Factor Live tour, along with her fellow ex-contestants. With upcoming dates in Liverpool, Manchester, Brighton and a host of other cities, the tour is not to be missed, so grab your tickets before they’re gone. X Factor Live tickets are available to buy and sell at Seatwave.

Everyone’s talking about the X Factor Live tour – and Leona’s dubstep ambitions By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn25 February 2011

The X Factor Live tour recently got off to a flying start, with news of fevered crowds and energetic performances from the ex-contestants. Boy band One Direction reportedly monopolised the limelight on tour in Dublin, thanks to their dedicated following of teenage girls.

The boys gave renditions of all the crowd-pleasers from the televised X Factor live shows, including Rihanna’s Only Girl In The World, Snow Patrol’s Chasing Cars and Kelly Clarkson’s My Life Would Suck Without You.

There was also much ado about Cher Lloyd’s new flame red ‘do in the press, as well as the 17-year-old singer’s newfound confidence and stage presence – which could have something to do with her excellent career prospects. According to the Daily Mail: “Cher is the only contestant to have laid down tracks for a new album, under Simon Cowell’s label Syco, which is already on pre-sale for an August release with Amazon.”

Cher isn’t the only X Factor protégé with an imminent album release, however. Leona Lewis, who won the third series of the show and has since gone on to global success, is reportedly planning her third album – with a dubstep flavour. The Sun recently reported that Leona will be jumping on the trend set by singers like Katy B, and working with dubstep and dance producers. Quite the departure from her usual ballad standards!

With dates across the country from Sheffield to Brighton, the show is not to be missed. X Factor Live tickets are available to buy and sell at Seatwave.

Will Katy Perry join the X Factor panel? Speculation is rife as X Factor Live Tour kicks off By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn24 February 2011

The X Factor Live tour has only just begun, but rumours have been circulating for quite some time that music mogul Simon Cowell plans to quit X Factor next year, in order to focus on re-launching the show for the US market. Cowell, who is thought to be paid somewhere in the region of £5 million per series by ITV, has reportedly been offered a pay rise to tempt him to stay on this side of the pond.

There has also been much speculation that Cowell could take judge Cheryl Cole with him when he goes, though this has yet to be confirmed. X Factor host Dermot O’Leary voiced his concerns about the possible departures to The People: “I can’t think of anybody who could replace Simon and Cheryl, I really can’t. There’s no one I’d want to see on the panel but them. I want the old team back, the old gang. The viewers want to keep them, too. There’s no one else.”

Pop starlet Katy Perry has been named as a potential replacement for Simon and Cheryl, after the Teenage Dream singer appeared as a guest judge in the last series, filling in for Dannii Minogue. Other names that have been hotly tipped are ex-judge Sharon Osbourne, Nicole Scherzinger and Take That’s Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams.

Whatever the outcome, the X Factor Live tour is here to tide us over until the next series with dates across the UK, from Belfast to Brighton. Demand for X Factor Live tour tickets has been great, but tickets are still on sale for the majority of venues. X Factor Live tickets are available to buy and sell at Seatwave.

Cher’s dye job sets tongues wagging on the X Factor Live tour By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn23 February 2011

The X Factor Live tour has officially arrived, and is already shaping up to be every bit as gossip-filled and entertaining as the TV show that spawned it. The X Factor Live tour started its journey in Birmingham at the LG arena, where the ex-contestants were greeted with rapturous crowds of (mostly) teenage girls – no doubt delighted by the opportunity to see heartbreakers One Direction in the flesh.

Cher Lloyd’s new hairstyle has also been the subject of much attention in the press. Gone are the long black tresses, which have now been replaced by a highly Rihanna-esque bright red curly style.

17-year old Cher spoke to Teen Now about her new look: “I feel like I’ve found exactly what I’m about and the way I’m dressing now reflects that. I also feel that now I’ve been through all the dramas with the press, it doesn’t matter how I dress – it’s up to me and nothing can hurt me.”

Michael Hogan reviewed the X Factor Live tour for the Daily Telegraph, giving it a three star rating overall and a brief nod of approval to Cher’s new look: “Rapping Cher Lloyd, modelling new red hair, looked more at home, bouncing around leading slick dance routines.”

Whether you think Cher’s cut is a hairdo or a hairdon’t, the X Factor Live tour is sure to be a thoroughly entertaining experience. Demand for X Factor Live tickets has been immense, but tickets are still available for many of the tour’s upcoming dates, so don’t miss out! The X Factor Live tour relishes on news of The X Factor going stateside By: rosebrownlow22 February 2011

The hit ITV talent show The X Factor achieved bigger audiences this year than ever before. With that said it seems an appropriate time for Simon Cowell to take the talent show across the pond and introduce the fool-proof talent show format to the US. As Cowell prepared to go state-side, he is also busy organising The X Factor Live tour which is looking to achieve a similar success to the show as X Factor Live tickets sell-out at speed.

With news of The X Factor expanding, X Factor contestants from a number of series are excited at the prospect of their British reputations following the X Factor show to the US. One ex contestant who is particularly excited for the move is runner-up Olly Murs.

Singing the show’s praises, Murs told us “I hope Dermot O’Leary will do the American X Factor – I think he could go over there and be a fantastic star over there. I’m hoping that he does it anyway! Whoever Simon picks to do the celebrity panel will be great though – he always gets it right doesn’t he?”

Nominated in the British Single category for ‘Please Don’t Let Me Go’, Murs has been incredibly successful since departing the show. As a new flock of contestants leave the show and join The X Factor Live tour, we wait to see what the future has in store for them. Mary Byrne to release debut album before The X Factor Live tour By: rosebrownlow21 February 2011

Byrne has come a long way since she her days as a Tesco cashier. Enjoying a successful stint on The X Factor 2010, Byrne has recently announced the release of her debut album in March, named Mine & Yours. It looks to be a bright future ahead for Byrne. With The X Factor Live tour 2011 on the near horizon, she is nothing but beaming!

Despite being in the category notoriously deemed the underdog, the Over 28s, Byrne beat the odds and experienced a successful stint on the ITV talent show. Despite not making it to the live finals, her mentor Louis Walsh hooked her up, wasting no time to record her LP and get it out to the public. The Tesco cashier certainly makes for a great reason to purchase X Factor Live tickets.
Mary has said, “Recording this album was a dream come true. I’m so grateful for all of the support I received both during and after the show. Nothing I’m experiencing now would have been possible without the wonderful people who picked up their phone each weekend and voted for me! I hope you enjoy listening to the album as much as I enjoyed making it.”

The album is due to be released across Ireland 25th March, following its release in the           UK just a couple of days later on the 28th. If you do one thing this month, purchase Mary Byrne’s debut album along with X Factor Live tickets to the X Factor Live tour.

Cardle hopes to duet with Rihanna again after The X Factor Live tour By: rosebrownlow18 February 2011

Winner of The X Factor 2010 Matt Cardle was not only adored for his music, but proved particularly popular with the ladies. The X Factor Live finals however saw Cardle a bit out of his depth in the female department however, when he was joined on stage by US singing sensation, and quite possibly one of the sexiest girls in the world, Rihanna. With X Factor Live tickets selling-out to The X Factor Live tour, Cardle is hoping to improve his charm with the ladies to avoid any other flustering situations.

As the duo performed a steamy rendition of Rihanna’s hit single Unfaithful on The X Factor live final, Cardle looked like a little lost boy. Despite his nervous disposition around the ravishing Rihanna, Cardle is braver than we thought as rumours hint that another Rihanna duet might be on the cards for his new album.

Revealing that he hopes to be releasing new music by the end of the year, Cardle has dropped hints that he would love to be joined by Rihanna again. Whether plans are in motion with the US star, or whether Cardle is just dreaming out loud remains unknown. But with The X Factor Live tour on the horizon, Cardle will have to put that thought on hold as his attention needs to be focused on promoting X Factor Live tickets and preparing for The X Factor Live tour.

Cheryl Cole shares contestants nerves as X Factor Live tour approaches By: rosebrownlow17 February 2011

The X Factor contestants of 2010 are currently in the midst of preparing for the imminent X Factor Live tour. As X Factor Live tickets sell out at speed, the contestants feel the pressure as they prepare to hit the stage in front of enormous live crowds for the very first time. However, recent news has settled their nerves as they have heard one of the X Factor judges and musical idol also suffers from stage fright.

X Factor host Dermot O’Leary has recently revealed that Cheryl Cole still suffers from stage fright. Despite a positively cool, calm and confident persona portrayed by Cole on The X Factor show, when the Girls Aloud star steps in front of an audience to perform one of her many hits, her confidence crumbles and she is overcome with nerves. As the sales of X Factor Live tickets to the X Factor Live tour continue to grow, Cole empathises with The X Factor contestants.

O’Leary admitted at last night’s Elle Style Awards that “she breezes through the studio and the auditions and she’s brilliant, she shows no sign of nerves whatsoever – but the minute she has to go out there and sing, she absolutely s***s herself”. Dermot kindly added, “this shows she cares. She’s so professional and meticulous. What I love about her is how much she cares about it all”.

Wearing a stunning red, floor-length dress at last night’s awards, it was no surprise to see the stunner take home the prize for best music.

The stars of The X Factor 2010 are due to return to the spotlight, currently in the throes of preparing for their 51-show, X Factor Live tour 2011. Kicking off the tour on the 19th February at Birmingham’s LG Arena, X Factor Live tickets are looking to sell-out nationwide. Purchase your X Factor live tickets today to avoid missing out!

This week, The X Factor stars of the live shows were spotted at rehearsals for The X Factor Live tour. Being fitted with ear pieces, the ITV talent show contestants, especially runner-up Rebecca Ferguson, looked more than uncomfortable. However, rumours have it that The X Factor contestants are happy to go through the pain in order to drown out the moans and groans of X Factor judge and mentor, Simon Cowell!

Controversial contestant, Katie Waisell, looked anxious as she watched Ferguson be fitted with her ear-piece, but we know there is more on Waisell’s mind than ear-piece pain. Reportedly apprehensive about the reception she will receive on The X Factor Live tour, Waissel risks being distracted from the vital rehearsals. However, with the volume of X Factor tickets sold so far, we are confident that Waissel will be met with cheers opposed to boos and hisses.

It is clear from the tired looks on the X Factor contestants’ faces that they have been working hard to perfect their X Factor Live tour routines. Don’t risk missing out on what is set to be a great night of entertainment; purchase your X Factor Live tickets today.

X Factor Live tickets to Birmingham’s LG Arena still available By: rosebrownlow15 February 2011

X Factor fans nationwide are gearing-up to hit the stage as The X Factor Live tour begins in Birmingham next weekend. With the ITV talent show proving a soaring success in 2010, viewings of the live-finals breaking records, it is no surprise that X Factor Live tickets have been selling like hot-cakes. However, despite rumours of the Birmingham LG Arena being sold out, there is still a chance to get your hands on X Factor Live tickets to next weekend’s show.

Despite promoters claiming an “unprecedented” demand for X Factor tickets, the Birmingham show is still looking to fill its enormous 13,926 capacity on both its Saturday and Sunday performances. It is thought that due to the show finishing back in 2010, X Factor fans have become somewhat complacent. X Factor is therefore urging fans to purchase tickets now to the first X Factor Live tour performance, to be reminded of the talent and entertainment the show has to offer.

Boasting talent from X Factor winner Matt Cardle, along with close runner-up Rebecca Ferguson, the two finalists will be joined by all of your favourite live contestants, not to mention the shows renowned panel of judges.

The X Factor tour is scheduled to perform both a matinee and evening performance on both days to cater to the needs of their audience. As last years’ X Factor Live tour completely sold out with one million X Factor tickets sold, Simon Cowell is hoping for similar success from 2011′s tour.

With “more dates than ever before”, the X Factor Live tour is not to be missed. For the opportunity to catch the ITV talent, showcased live, purchase your X Factor Live tickets today.
