Backed by the management team responsible for the Kaiser Chiefs, London lads White Lies are already following in their footsteps with their own brand of chart-topping Indie-Disco pop.

With their debut album, "To Lose My Life" going straight to the #1 spot in the UK album charts, it looks like White Lies have finally got the recognition they deserve. For fans of The Smiths and Echo And The Bunnymen.

A preview of the forthcoming album was a unkowing adventure and turned out to be better than any of their gigs before. First album anthems were played periodically throughout, but the patient wait for the new songs was only enjoyed by the crown even more. If I had to be honest, the weakest song of the night was the new single, "Bigger Than Us" but having heard it again since, is definately a grower. This was a great night, great venue, and overall makes waiting for the second album even harder. 2011 will be a great year for White Lies. I recommend anybody to go and see them in February/March 2011.

White Lies average rating 5 from 1 reviews.
