SECTION 1

Should one of the following events occur you may be eligible for a reimbursement for the total purchase price of your ticket including itemised postage and service fees that were enumerated to you at the time of sale provided none of the conditions in Section 3 apply:

  1. Your illness, accidental injury or death;
  2. Death of an immediate family member (child, spouse, civil partner or parent);
  3. You being required for jury service;
  4. Accidental fire, burglary or storm damage of your home;
  5. Breakdown or failure of the transport in which you are travelling to the event;
  6. Traffic jams of over 3 hours resulting in a delay in arriving at your event;
  7. Unforeseen occupational posting of members of the armed forces;
  8. You being mugged or assaulted up to 10 days prior to the event; or
  9. Cancellation of the event by the artist/promoter if any alternative date offered is unsuitable or no alternative date is provided.

In the event that you wish to apply for a reimbursement for the cost of your ticket due to the reasons referred to above, within 30 days of the happening of events in paragraphs 1-8 above or within 30 days of a new date being provided by the event organiser in respect of paragraph 9, you should download a reimbursement request form from this site (at the bottom of this page), complete accordingly and send to:

You will need to provide certain evidence to support your request – the information required is listed below and will be shown on the form.


SECTION 2

Supporting Documentation


For all instances the original unused tickets must be submitted. (Exception. if stolen when being mugged or assaulted)

  1. A doctor's note or report for accident or illness claims or a death certificate for death claims.
  2. Death Certificate or similar
  3. Confirmation letter from the court
  4. Letter from the Police, Fire Brigade or Household insurer
  5. Confirmation from rescue/ repair service or public transport provider. For the breakdown of a private vehicle, where no rescue or repair service applies, a copy garage repair bill or parts receipt or in the case of a motor accident claim, confirmation from the vehicle motor insurers, vehicle repairers or police.
  6. Confirmation from AA Roadwatch or similar. Transport Police if delayed in Motorway.
  7. Letter from CO (Commanding Officer)
  8. Police or hospital report to confirm incident
  9. The original unused ticket
  10. Any reasonable additional evidence which we may request

SECTION 3

We will not consider reimbursement under the following circumstances:

  1. For illness, symptoms which normally accompany pregnancy (including multiple pregnancy) which are of a minor and/or temporary nature (such as morning sickness and fatigue) or which do not represent a medical hazard to mother or baby, or a combination of minor symptoms.
  2. Cancellation due to medical grounds unless it is deemed medically necessary to cancel
  3. For illness or death of you, a family member or person who you are attending the event with for a medical condition that is awaiting or undergoing investigation, treatment or awaiting surgery or for previously diagnosed medical conditions where the regime of regular controlling medication has been altered, increased or reduced within the two months prior to the date of the booking.
  4. For abandonment, curtailment of the event.
  5. If you decide not to attend the event other than for a reason stated above
  6. For failure or delay of public transport services caused by strike, industrial action, mechanical breakdown or accident where warning or notification has been given before you leave home to attend the event or which is public knowledge.
  7. For not allowing adequate time for your journey
  8. For any travelling or associated expenses other than the purchase price of the ticket
  9. For any ticket purchased from Seatwave before 26 March 2007, the inception date of TicketCover

Unless we agree otherwise:

The language of the document and all communications relating to it will be English; and all aspects of the document, including negotiation and performance, are subject to English law and the decisions of English courts.
