The Waterboys. One name - so many talented musicians. Mike Scott started the band in 1983 and more than thirty musicians have since performed live as a Waterboy. We'd all love the honour of travelling and playing with Scott but at least the rest of us talent less sods can just use our ears to benefit from their music.
It's hard to define their sound, let alone the vibe at their live concerts but we'll give it a go. If you like a mix of Celtic folk music with rock and roll and folk this should be just your type of gig.
