          They celebrated their 55th Anniversary in 2008 and coincidently they've also gone through 55 different singers. True icons such as Clyde McPhatter, Ben E King, Charlie Thomas, Rudy Lewis and Johnny Moore have all been associated with The Drifters in their long running career. The current line-up is Christophe Richards, Steve King, Michael Williams and Maurice Cannon.

          Saw the Drifters at Sterts Theatre Upton Cross Cornwall. &th september 2010. What an evening. The whole theatre was rocking. Ray and the groups interaction with the audience was something to be seen.There was love and mutual respect going both ways. Ray is still a true star and a Gentleman. The three members of the group are great singers. Would recommend there concert Still Drifting as a must see to everyone who loves music.

          Saw the Drifters at the Wyvern, Swindon, this week and they were excellent. They sounded how they sound on the radio/CD. They had good interaction with the audience and veryone was on their feet by the end! Well worth the £20.00 ticket! Hope I have the opportunity to see them again.
