Formed in early 2006, San Francisco's The Dodo's started out as founding member Meric Long's one man band. Soon after, Meric met Logan Kroeber and thus The Dodo's began.
In 2007 the band toured with Les Savy Fav, Akron/Family, Jennifer Gentle, Wovenhand and Peter and the Wolf, placing them higher up in the indie ranks
