The Cure is surely one of the most iconic bands of a golden generation of music. Formed back in 1976 in Crawley, West Sussex the Cure went on to define the post-punk and New wave scene with their early work, however it was their increasingly dark stage presence and tormented musical style that eventually shaped the band that we know today and rock music forever.
