Los Angeles Ska outfit The Aggrolites began life as a backing band for reggae icon Derrick Morgan. Some time later they appeared on one of Tim Armstrong of Rancid's, Hellcat label samplers and were then officially signed to the label in 2005.

The Aggrolites have since become a fully fledged band, not only releasing their own material but often collaborating with Tim Armstrong on his solo album 'A Poet's Life'.
