          Jim Kerr and guitarist Charlie Burchill made up one of the greatest Scottish bands of the 80's.

          They were Simple Minds and they brought us classic hits such as "Don't You (Forget About me)" which featured on the soundtrack to the cult movie 'The Breakfast Club'.

          As a massive fan I was not disappointed. Jim still has what it takes and Charlie fired off some amazing rifs, turns and definitely has not lost his edge. Love you guys! However would have been nice to hear some more of their biggest crowd pleasing hits too (just to show my commercialized side). I know this is not their fault but it seemed Jim's voice at times was slightly drowned out by the band, a technical sound engineering issue most likely. Also, there was very little ventilation in there (I almost felt on the verge of fainting once) and locking us all in at the end except for 1 tiny door through which we were all to pile out throughout was a dangerous, irresponsible and pathetic move by obviously the venue management. Open all the exit doors next time please!!! We are not cattle but human beings. Cheers, Tania
