Who can buy tickets on the exchange?

Anyone can purchase tickets on the official ticket exchange, although the purchase of tickets through the exchange is strongly recommended for Portsmouth supporters only. If you’re looking for hospitality packages, please call Alistair Spiers on 020 7101 5110.

Do I need to register to buy tickets?

Anyone purchasing tickets on the official exchange will need a Seatwave account. If you don’t already have one, registration is simple. All you will need to create your account is an email address and a password of your choosing. Click here to create your Seatwave account now.

How many tickets can I buy?

Ticket purchases are restricted to a maximum of 6 per account.

When do I get my tickets?

If you’ve purchased your tickets more than three working days before the match, you will receive your tickets by post. If you’ve purchased any later than that, you will need to collect them on matchday from the Portsmouth Football Club box office in Rodney Road.

What payment methods are accepted?

Who can sell tickets on the Portsmouth Football Club ticket exchange?

Only registered Portsmouth Football Club season ticket holders are able to sell their tickets on the official exchange. Unfortunately, lifetime tickets are unable to be sold on the exchange.

When can I list a ticket for sale?

Tickets can be listed for sale anytime before the match date. Matches are open to sell on the exchange as soon as tickets go on general sale on the Portsmouth Football Club site. Matches that are available will have the “Sell” button clearly displayed.

How much money will I receive for my ticket?

Once your ticket sells, you will be refunded the equivalent amount of your season ticket per match, calculated pro rata, less a 10% sellers service charge. For example, for a full season ticket costing £500 and covering the total 19 matches, you will receive £23.69 for each ticket sold.

How much will my ticket be sold for?

The selling price for each ticket sold on the official exchange is set by Portsmouth Football Club. The selling price is set as an adult ticket price and is dependent on the position in the stadium and the match itself. Seatwave does not set the selling price.

How long does my ticket remain on sale for?

Tickets will remain on sale until 3 working days before the match. If the ticket has not sold by this time, it will be removed from sale. This is to ensure enough time for the ticket to reach the buyer.

When do I get paid?

The refund for your ticket sale will be processed within 10 working days after the sale.

Do I have to give someone my season ticket if I sell a ticket?

No, once your ticket sells, Portsmouth Football Club will deactivate the ticket for the particular match on your season membership card. A paper ticket for the selected match will then be issued to your buyer.
