Omid Djalili is a British-born Iranian comedian. He plays on the fact that he is one of very few Iranian comics thus bringing a fresh edge to comedy. Omud Djalili rips through cliches and stereotypes producing a hilarious and cutting stand-up show.
Omid Djalili was first noticed in Edinburgh 2005 with his act "Short, Fat Kebab Shop Owner's Son." His TV programme "The Omid Djalili Show" started on BBC1 in November 2007.
