Archery made a welcome return to Olympic competition in 1972 at the Munich games after a 52 year absence.
The sport is divided into individual and team disciplines. The final of the individual competition is between the best marksmen of the previous elimination rounds, with the victor taking gold. The team event is between teams of three, with each firing 27 arrows. Don’t miss a second of this enthralling event, get your Olympic Archery tickets now!
