When i heard Newton Faulkner was performing in an intimate venue of no more than 150 in a packed Church i was desperate to snap up exclusive tickets! It sold out within minutes but my wife found tickets on ebay for 3 times the price! It turned out to be the best concert i've ever experienced. Newton even played surprise snippets from his long-awaited 3rd album to the delight of fans and industry personnel. I have played Hand-built by Robots & Re-built by humans over and over again more than any album i've ever owned because his lyrics are powerful, his voice is powerful & his musicality is powerful and not only on CD but standing 50 feet from the man himself you can't fault his unbelievable talent. This young man 10 years younger than myself is the only artiste i have got hairs on the back of my neck raise up! His humour and audience rappor make you believe he is performing just for you. His passion and technique in his unique guitar playing blows you away and he talks during his set like he's a friend of yours. I have witnessed the best LIVE in concert including Brian Wilson, Michael Jackson, Jon Bon Jovi, Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Ritchie, Michael Buble, Jamiroqui, Van Morrison & many more but Newton Faulkner is my favourite artist of all time and as he mentioned 2012 & the end of the world, i hope we're all wrong as i want to hear his 10th Album!!! A true highlight of 9th May at the St Pancras Old Church was when his wife brought their 2 month old son Beau on stage to dedicate his new song "I made a new friend"! Truly Beautiful
