Jack Johnson first started playing guitar at 14. He only started taking his music seriously when he was bed ridden after a surfing accident and spent a lot of time writing songs and playing guitar. His released his debut album Brushfire Fairytales in 2001 and has being going strong ever since.
Jack Johnson has created a harmonious set of acoustic tracks that melt in to the soft rock genre. He 2006, he won a BRIT award for Best International Newcomer, beating the Pussycat Dolls and Arcade Fire.
