Our unique TicketCover™ covers for event cancellation ensuring that you get the full cost of your ticket back and not just the face value (how many times have we all been caught out by that one!) So if the Arctic Monkeys catch a cold or The Lost Prophets go missing, whilst no doubt you'll be disappointed, you won't be left out of pocket. When buying tickets on Seatwave, you can also choose to add TicketCover™premium to your order. This additional insurance will cover you for a wide range of other reasons that may keep you from enjoying your event including:

 

A breakdown or transport failure stops you from getting to the venue

Accident or illness

Death of an immediate family member

Storm or other adverse weather

Questions about TicketCover™

  1. What is the difference between TicketCover™ and TicketCover™premium?

    All tickets bought on Seatwave come with basic TicketCover™ which covers for a full refund in the event of a cancellation. If you chose to include TicketCover™premium with your order, you'll be covered for a wider range of other circumstances that might prevent you from attending an event such as illness or transport failure.   2. How do I claim my TicketCover™ refund?

    If you purchased your tickets on or after 1 November 2009 and your event has been cancelled, you can claim your full refund by contacting us here. We may require you to send us the original tickets but will confirm this once you have gotten in touch, as it varies by event. If you bought TicketCover™premium with your purchase and wish to make a  claim for any other reason, please see information on claiming through TicketCover™premium.

     

    If you purchased your tickets before 1 November 2009, please call Mondial Assistance on 0845 641 9719 to obtain a claim form. For all purchases before this date, you will need to send this completed claim form, along with the original tickets and a copy of your order confirmation, to the address found at the bottom of the claim form.

  3. I purchased tickets before 1 November 2009. How do I know my claim form has been received?

    It is important to register your claim within 48 hours of any incident occurring that prevents you attending the event.

  5. How long will it take to get my refund?

    Refunds through TicketCover™ are usually processed within 2-3 weeks of receiving a claim.
