Buying tickets - Cancellations and refunds

  1. Can I cancel my order?

All sales on Seatwave are final and cannot be cancelled once confirmed. This is because we have guaranteed your seller payment at this point. If you can no longer make an event that you have purchased tickets for, or you change your mind, you can sell your tickets on Seatwave here.

  2. I have bought tickets and I no longer need them. What do I do?

Sell them on Seatwave. If you can no longer make the event for which you've bough tickets, sell them to other fans on Seatwave here.

  3. What happens if an event is cancelled?

All ticket purchases on Seatwave are covered by our TicketCover™ promise. If an event is cancelled, you can claim a full refund. Find out more here.

  4. What happens if an event is rescheduled and I am unable to make the new date?

If you are unable to make a rescheduled date for tickets purchased, we recommend that you list your tickets for sale on Seatwave to sell them on to other fans. We can help to ensure that, once sold, the delivery address for your tickets is easily transferred to your new buyer.

If you purchased your tickets before 1 November, your purchase was automatically covered for reschedules through Mondial insurance and you can claim your refund by calling Mondial Assistance on 0845 641 9719 to obtain a claim form.

  5. I applied for a refund under the TicketCover™ guarantee. When will I receive the refund?

All TicketCover™ refunds usually take about 2-3 weeks to process from receipt of your claim. If you purchased your tickets before 1 November 2009, your TicketCover™ refund is processed by Mondial Assistance.  All enquiries relating to your reimbursement request should be directed to Mondial Assistance who will be pleased to assist.

  6. Can I get a refund on my postage fee?

All post and packaging fees charged on ticket purchases are non-refundable unless covered through our TicketCover™ or TicketIntegrity™ guarantees. We often get asked about refunds on postage fees when tickets are made available for collection at our office or venue. As we are a marketplace, there is still a charge to ship the tickets from the seller to the collection point and this is reflected in the post and packaging.
