Ronnie James Dio formed Dio in 1982 after leaving Black Sabbath and has since built up a massive fan base dedicated to Dio's crunching Heavy Metal anthems. Vocalist Dio, part of the early Black Sabbath line up, last released an album in 2006 called Holy Diver. Despite rumours that Black Sabbath and Dio will reunite as Heaven and Hell in 2008 to record a studio album, Dio is pursuing his solo career and touring the UK in may.
