          The Saturdays

          The Saturdays

Following on the heels of Bananarama, The Spice Girls, The All Saints, Atomic Kitten and Girls Aloud, The Saturdays are the hottest new girl band on the block and look certain to be mentioned in the same breath as their extremely successful predessors for many, many years to come. In just a couple of years they have captured our hearts and our imaginations and are now loved and followed by millions across the UK. Since their 2007 inception, the girls, namely - Frankie Sandford, Rochelle Wiseman, Vanessa White, Mollie King and Una Healy have filled with charts with catchy sing-along pop songs as well as filling the red top newspapers with their very active social lives! Their very aptly titled debut Lp "Chasing Lights" spawned a monsterous four top ten singles after it was recorded in mid 2008. It was their fourth single that really saw the girls blow up, an unexpectadly up beat dancey version of the Depeche Mode classic "I just cant get enough" which with the help of Comic relief reached number two in the hit parade. Hot on the heels of the success of "Chasing Lights", The Saturdays released their second Lp "Wordshaker" which charted at a very reputable number nine in the charts. Their first single was "Forever is over" which was written by ex Busted boy - James Bourne - nice! The Great news is that you can get The Saturdays tickets now as they are off on their biggest UK tour yet. If you havent seen the Saturdays live yet then where have you been? they have spent the last three years touring religously and playing accross the UK to screaming thousands. As well as playing at the NFL's super bash at the Indigo2 arena, Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball, The Itunes festival at the Roundhouse and Cardiff's Gay Pride, they had two high profile warm up slots supporting The Jonas Brothers and Girls Aloud on their UK tours. If thats not enough the Saturdays also have their own ITV2 Tv show thats being broadcast weekly, these girls are truely everywhere and will be for years to come, of that there is no doubt. Grab Saturdays tickets today you wont regret it!
