The Smashing Pumpkins defined the musical taste generation of kids in the late 1990's. For many a Smashing Pumpkins tour or gig was their first tast of live music. However all to quickly the band faded out of the limelight and left us fans feeling lost. Thankfully they are back (albeit with a new line up) and on tour in the UK. Tickets are available for that Smashing Pumpkins tour when they will be hitting the shores of the UK in November. Many of us have longed for the return of a band that shaped alternative rock and roll with albums like ‘Siamese Dreams’ and the epic double disk ‘Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness’. The latter of which contained songs like ‘1979’ and ‘Bullet with Butterfly Wings’ which were widely regarded as some of the best examples of late 90’s rock. Now the Smashing Pumpkins are back again and looking to tour with what looks like a solid line up of Billy Corgan, Jeff Schroeder, Mike Byrne and Nicole Fiorentino. This new Smashing Pumpkins tour will be a celebration of past works and a look to the future with the band play tracks from their last album ‘Teargarden by Kaleidyscope’ and their upcoming album ‘Oceania’.
Either way, true Smashing Pumpkins fans will no doubt be clamouring to the front of the crowd for this chance to see their 90’s heroes back again and on tour. Tickets for their UK gigs are available now on Seatwave.com so be quick and book your place to revel in the greatness that is the Smashing Pumpkins.
