        Paolo Nutini

        Paolo Nutini

Paolo Nutini hails from Paisley, Scotland (despite the Italian name, which derives from his Italian descendent father) and has managed to carve out a whole new niche for himself in the last few years. His style is often described as Folk, Blues, Reggae and Soul, however none of these classifications do his tremendous vocal ability justice – his range falls somewhere between Van Morrison and Rod Stewart, something very rare in popular music these days. To date Paulo has released two studio albums and eight singles including the huge smash hit “Pencil Full of Lead” from the album “Sunny Side Up”. He got his first break while awaiting the late entrance of fellow Paisley lad David Sneddon (Pop Idol Winner) at the Paisley town hall, where he jumped on stage still in his school uniform and performed a song he had written. In doing so he was spotted by his now manager Brendan Moon. Paolo’s career really took off in 2006 with appearances on Later with Jools Holland, the Matreux Jazz Festival, Wireless, Oxegen, T in the Park Festival, and as a support act for the Rolling Stones and in the following year as support for Led Zeppelin in their first performance for 27 years. Paolo Nutini is embarking on his biggest European tour yet, kicking off with performances at the 2010 V Festival where is performing on the main stage. You can get your Paolo Nutini Tickets for all his shows across Europe right here on seatwave.com, Europe’s largest fan to fan ticket exchange with 100% guarantee’s. Paolo Nutini holds the crown as the UK's best loved solo male artist of recent years. Since 2006 he has been filling our arenas and radio stations with his blend of heartfelt acoustic pop. This Scottish-Italian troubadour has been a success since he filled in for David Sneddon who was late to appear at a pop quiz in Paisley. Paolo won the quiz and played a few of his songs and the rest is history, Paolo we have a lot to thank you for! See Paolo Nutini live in the UK buy your tickets and get up close today!

New Paolo Nutini album ‘could be finished soon’ By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn08 June 2011

If anyone needed further incentive to grab some Paolo Nutini tickets for his summer festival performances, then perhaps their interest will be piqued by the promise of an exclusive first listen of new material from his upcoming third album.

It has been two years since Nutini’s last offering, Sunny Side Up, which received critical and commercial success and went platinum an impressive four times. Expectations are understandably high, then, for his much-anticipated follow-up – and it seems that it could be released in the relatively near future.

Paolo told Scottish newspaper the Daily Record: “It could be finished soon. I have been trying some stuff out, working with different people. It could all go pretty quickly.”

Nutini has evolved considerably as an artist since his debut These Streets, which slotted nicely into the ‘acoustic pop’ category. Sunny Side Up was far more experimental, incorporating elements from a range of musical genres, including reggae and jazz. His latest effort promises to be a departure from his usual style. He explained:

“I have played it to friends and, based on what I have heard back, it is a different vibe. There seems to be a lot more electric guitar. It is hard for me to talk about it as a body of work at the moment, because it isn’t one. We’re at that point where it could still change.”

The Paisley musician will be taking to the stage at the Latitude and RockNess festivals this year, and Paolo Nutini tickets are currently on sale for both of these events.

Paolo Nutini gears up for the festival season By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn07 June 2011

Lucky fans with Paolo Nutini tickets for his upcoming festival gigs will no doubt be excited at the prospect of getting a first taste of his new album, which will be the follow-up to 2009’s massively successful Sunny Side Up.

Nutini has been out of the spotlight for quite some time, but he’s returning to the music scene in style this summer, with headlining slots at the RockNess and Latitude festivals, as well as a Glastonbury set on the schedule.

So, with such high-profile gigs on the cards, is Paolo feeling the nerves? Not excessively, it seems. He said: “I am eager to get out, I am ready to put my neck on the line again – it might get chopped off, who knows?”

Speaking about his new album, he added: “For the new one, if I can evoke the feelings I want to get across and if it sits with some people the way it sits with me and the guys in the band, I am going to really enjoy the gigs.”

Fans should definitely be listening out for a few surprises on the set list when Paolo takes to the festival stages this summer – as well as his classic hits like Jenny Don’t Be Hasty and New Shoes. Paolo Nutini tickets are currently on sale for the RockNess and Latitude festivals, which take place in June and July respectively.

Paolo Nutini is ready to rock RockNess By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn06 June 2011

Paolo Nutini tickets are currently on sale for the hugely anticipated 2011 RockNess festival, which takes place in Inverness next weekend. The event boasts some huge headlining acts, including the Chemical Brothers and Kasabian – and festival director Jim King expects it to be bigger and better this year.

He said: “I’m really excited about the Rock n Roll Circus and I think anyone who is into new music will recognise some of these bands, I think that will be a highlight all weekend. Also the Sunday main stage is pretty good, I think Paolo will be a great closing to the show.”

Nutini certainly seems to be looking forward to his slot. In a recent interview in Milan, he told the Daily Record:

“I can’t wait. At one point I was nervous and still am a wee bit, but let’s have it man. I have never been… I’m trying to find a segway to introduce some new music into my set. I’m sure we will have enough time to play a bit of it. I want to try to enjoy the whole festival, get there early, see some bands.”

Paolo has expressed a particular desire to see fellow Scots Glasvegas, an indie rock outfit who achieved huge success in 2008 with their self-titled debut and released their second album in April.

If you can’t make it up to RockNess next weekend, don’t worry – Paolo Nutini tickets are also now on sale for the Latitude festival, where he’ll be headlining in July.

Paolo Nutini “Sunny Side Up”: a review By: Chris Olson03 June 2011

Scottish-born Paolo Nutini encompasses some of the most exciting and varied music that British artists have to offer and his 2009 album Sunny Side Up is his most accomplished record so far.

Fans of his 2006 debut, These Streets, will be accustomed to his voice and style, but his most recent album contains songs which are instantly unforgettable. Anyone with Paolo Nutini tickets for his upcoming festival dates is surely in for some amazing performances.

Sunny Side Up contains a highly eclectic mix of songs, which makes it difficult to single out a few as typical of his work, but here are a few shining choices:

Coming Up Easy is a wonderful, sentimental song that uses Nutini’s soft, melodic sound to great effect. It also happens to have a cracking tune and enough bounce to keep you interested.

Candy, one of the lead singles from the album, is a mellow pop track. It has a gentle rhythm and thoughtful lyrics that seem to grow on you with each listen, making for an excellent song – those with Paolo Nutini tickets will no doubt be belting this one out at the shows.

Pencil Full Of Lead is an outstanding track with great instrumentals. The drums create an interesting, funky beat, the brass adds a certain jazz element to the mix, the harmonica provides texture and Nutini’s vocals have a brilliant scat-like style – this song encapsulates the musical variety to be found on the album.

Sunny Side Up is a well-written, fun record that draws inspiration from many different musical genres, and combines strong melodies with intelligent and memorable words.

Get yourself some Paolo Nutini tickets to see him perform all these hits live – as well as new material from his forthcoming release.

Paolo Nutini tickets for RockNess subject to scam By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn02 June 2011

Paolo Nutini tickets for his upcoming headline slot at the RockNess festival have been subject to dodgy dealing in the form of a counterfeiting scam, according to recent reports.

This year’s RockNess festival, which takes place at Clune Farm in Dores, Inverness, close to the shores of the legendary Loch Ness, boasts a particularly high-quality line-up, with acts like the Chemical Brothers and Kasabian also on the bill.

Demand for the event has been high and a savvy scam artist has been selling residents’ tickets online, which has left Dores residents scrambling to re-apply for their free passes from the small ticket allocation reserved for locals.

Festival director Jim King said: “We have introduced a new policy on all wristbands and passes in that passes are not sent out in advance of the event. Security tickets are exchanged for passes on the day of the festival instead. This is in line with all other festivals that we manage in the UK and certainly is not just for Dores resident passes.”

If you would like to attend RockNess 2011, make sure you book your place with a reliable company like Seatwave and don’t get conned by touts. Paolo Nutini tickets are currently on sale for upcoming summer dates, including RockNess, Latitude and Glastonbury.

Nutini also has a handful of gigs lined up over the next few days in York, Sunderland and Aberystwyth, where he is expected to add a couple of surprises to the set list, in the form of material from his new album.

Up and coming Scottish acts follow in Paolo Nutini’s footsteps By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn01 June 2011

Paolo Nutini tickets are currently on sale for the Paisley singer’s upcoming performances at the Glastonbury, Latitude and RockNess festivals this summer – and it seems his phenomenal success will prove to be inspirational for promising newcomers on the Scottish music scene.

New Scottish bands are being given the chance to enter a competition to perform at the ‘Tartan Clefs’ awards in November – Scotland’s equivalent of the Brits – and to take to the stage in New York during Scotland Week 2012, an event dedicated to strengthening ties between Scotland and the US.

The Tartan Clefs awards raise money for the Nordoff Robbins charity, which provides musical therapy for children and adults. Nutini previously won the prestigious best newcomer accolade, before going on to win the top honour at the awards in 2010. Speaking at the time, he said:

“I feel very humble to be receiving this great award. I’ve long been a supporter of Nordoff Robbins in Scotland. It was only a few years ago I got the newcomer award here so I’m really proud to get this. My girlfriend, family and friends are here and it’s always great to perform in front of them.”

If you would like to hear the New Shoes crooner perform all his best-loved hits live, you can get Paolo Nutini tickets for upcoming summer festival gigs, as well as June shows in York, Sunderland, Blackburn and Aberystwyth.

Paolo Nutini lined up for Scottish music Hall of Fame By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn01 June 2011

Paolo Nutini tickets have been in popular demand since it was announced that he would be performing at this year’s Glastonbury, RockNess and Latitude festivals – demonstrating that although it’s been quite some time since his hugely successful 2009 Sunny Side Up album, he still has pulling power with big crowds.

It’s no surprise, then, that Nutini’s name has been mentioned in discussions over who will be included in a new £6m Hall of Fame, celebrating the best of Scotland’s musical talent. The showcase is the brainchild of former STV presenter and DJ Ewan McLeod and will reportedly include 4D laser technology and an education programme.

Plenty of big-name musical personalities have leant their support to the project, including former Eurhythmics star Annie Lennox and acoustic sensation KT Tunstall, who said, speaking about Scotland’s impressive credentials:

“As a country with a population smaller than London, it has an amazing hit-rate of bands that achieve national and international acclaim.”

Famous Scottish acts include Garbage, Biffy Clyro, Franz Ferdinand, The Fratellis, Glasvegas, Calvin Harris, Snow Patrol and Paolo Nutini, who hails from Paisley.

The New Shoes singer will be putting on a string of gigs in Blackburn, York, Sunderland and Aberystwyth over the next few days, in preparation for his busy summer festival schedule. Paolo Nutini tickets are currently on sale for all of these dates.

Put some new shoes on and get on down with some Paolo Nutini tickets. With his understated swagger and iconic tunes, the Scottish hipster is rolling back into town.

Worth an estimated £4,116,000, aged just 24 and a bit of a ladies man, many a green-eyed monster would probably want to devour the Paisley lad for his phenomenal success – but it’s very difficult to begrudge this chilled-out crooner.

For starters, he is a decent chap with strong family values. He’s also a fantastic artist – a favourite at festivals, he has previously lit up the stages at the Latitude and Glastonbury musical extravaganzas.

His performances are steeped in the tradition of greats like Bob Marley and Johnny Cash, and you get a sense that he has a genuine love of music. His passionate vocals and charismatic stage presence keep audiences mesmerised.

Open-minded, daring and unafraid of critics, Nutini’s style has shifted from pop-influenced ballads and jaunty acoustic toe-tappers to an eclectic mix of genres; from big band to reggae and jazz.

An accomplished performer, he’s adept at establishing a camaraderie with the crowd during his live sets, while songs such as ‘These Streets’ and ‘Candy’ resonate with a depth of real emotion and life experience.

2011 looks set to be a stellar year for the singer, with a follow-up album expected late in the year and a string of concerts lined up over the summer. Paolo Nutini tickets are now on sale for upcoming dates at the Latitude, Glastonbury and RockNess festivals.

Paolo Nutini tickets: festival fever By: Greg Hall26 May 2011

Yes folks, Paolo Nutini tickets are here, there and everywhere in 2011. So far this year, the tartan troubadour has had a rip-roaring schedule in the UK and across the continent. With plenty of gas in the tank he’s sure to be thrilling many more audiences as the year progresses.

As reported on his official website, the laidback crooner will be performing a one-off, intimate show at Aberystwyth Arts Centre on June 6th. Like a fine wine, the shows are flowing, but the main toast for those with Paolo Nutini tickets are the festivals he will be headlining this coming summer.

On Sunday, June 12th, the Scottish super star is due to put on a humdinger of a homecoming at RockNess. With the festival centred around the iconic Loch Ness, Paisley’s finest is the final mainstage headliner.

As the Scottish say, he’s a ‘wee’ bit excited: “I am buzzing at the prospect. I don’t know what to expect but everyone I know has come back with loads of stories to tell. I hope I will be the same!”

Dubbed by fans and critics alike as ‘fascinating’ to watch live, Nutini will be hitting the prestigious Pyramid stage at Glastonbury on Saturday, June 25th. Other acts sure to add spice to the annual spectacular include Tiny Tempah, Coldplay, Elbow and Rumer.

Although there has been no official release date given for his new album, those with Paolo Nutini tickets can expect to see him sprinkle a few surprises into his repertoire in the coming months – so make sure you book your place with Seatwave.

John Amabile and Paolo Nutini: Paisley boys done good By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn25 May 2011

With Paolo Nutini tickets in great demand as ever, two hugely successful albums, critical acclaim and a place on the legendary Glastonbury stage this summer, it’s safe to say the Paisley-born singer has done well for himself.

Fellow Paisley man and interior design expert, John Amabile, has just taken up a regular slot on Scottish celebrity chat and lifestyle show The Hour on STV, which is hosted by Pop Idol winner Michelle McManus.

John previously worked as a presenter on the Home Show at Scottish Television’s former home, the Cowcaddens studios, where a young Paolo Nutini coincidentally did some work experience. John told the Paisley Daily Express:

“He was just a shy young lad at the time and it took me all my time to encourage him to go to the canteen for a Coca-Cola. He was interested in the TV industry and hung out with us for a week and seemed to enjoy himself.”

He continued: “The next time I met him was at Central Station in Glasgow when he was off down south with his mum to sign his first record deal. He had grown up so quickly but had remained such a nice guy. We still keep in touch and the last I saw him was at the Scottish Fashion Awards. I might even be giving him a hand to design his house soon.”

Fans of the New Shoes singer can catch him at a host of high-profile musical events this summer, including the Glastonbury, Latitude and RockNess festivals. Paolo Nutini tickets are also currently on sale for upcoming June gigs in Blackburn, York, Sunderland and Aberystwyth.

Paolo Nutini to perform at Hamburg jazz festival By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn24 May 2011

Paolo Nutini tickets are currently on sale for a host of music events this summer – and it has now been announced that the Scottish singer will be heading the line-up at the German ELBJAZZ festival, which takes place between 27-28 May in Hamburg.

The event encompasses a sprinkling of venues across the city, from intimate indoor spaces to huge outdoor stages. Nutini will be performing at the Blohm + Voss Main Stage on Saturday May 28 at 9pm.

2011 will be ELBJAZZ’s second year, and according to the event’s official website, it promises to “represent the multifaceted world of jazz music” with “musicians of international reputation, highlights of Hamburg’s vivid jazz scene and promising newcomers.”

The festival should be right up Paolo’s street, considering his admiration for jazz musicians like Cab Calloway and Louis Armstrong. His hugely successful 2009 album Sunny Side Up featured an eclectic mix of musical genres, and has been described as showing elements of artists as diverse as Otis Redding, John Martyn, Bob Marley and The Specials.

If jetting off to Hamburg is a fairly remote possibility for you, don’t worry – the New Shoes singer will also be taking to the stage at a range of UK festivals this summer, including Glastonbury, Latitude and RockNess.

Prior to that, he will also be performing several warm-up gigs in York, Sunderland and Blackburn in June, and Paolo Nutini tickets are now on sale for all of these dates.

Paolo Nutini teams up with Range Rover By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn23 May 2011

Paolo Nutini tickets are currently on sale for his upcoming summer festival gigs, but it was strictly guest-list only for his most recent concert in Milan.

The Scottish musician performed to around 3,000 invited guests – a performance which was televised on giant display screens in New York and Shanghai, where Cee Lo Green and Mark Ronson were putting on simultaneous concerts.

The huge interactive musical event was in promotion of the latest addition to the Range Rover brand, the ‘Evoque’. The new model was first launched last July, when Range Rover revealed that global superstar Victoria Beckham would be the ‘creative design executive’ for the project.

The ‘Evoque Live’ musical extravaganza marked the start of a huge campaign, which will see the brand promote the new model in 100 cities worldwide. Autocar has described the vehicle as “one of Europe’s most important cars this year” and “plainly Britain’s closest thing for years to an automotive shooting star.”

The big question is: did Paolo get a shiny new car as payment for the show?

We may never know – however, we do know that the New Shoes singer will be hitting the stage at a variety of high-profile music festivals this summer, including Glastonbury, Latitude and RockNess.

Prior to that, he’ll also be putting on several warm-up gigs in York, Blackburn, Sunderland and Aberystwyth. Paolo Nutini tickets are now on sale for all of these events.

Rock Ness festival goes green By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn20 May 2011

Paolo Nutini tickets are currently on sale for his upcoming headlining performance at the 2011 Rock Ness festival – which also features such heavyweight artists as Kasabian and the Chemical Brothers on the bill.

The festival, which takes place in Inverness, Scotland, close to the shores of Loch Ness, has become particularly environmentally friendly this year, after organisers urged music fans to take public transport or car-share to the event.

Organisers have also put in place a new ‘Go Green with RockNess’ Early Bird discount coach scheme, giving attendees access to free coach travel, in order to cut down on carbon emissions. According to the festival’s official website: “For only £135 they can get a 3 day ticket including camping plus FREE COACH TRAVEL from all major cities across the UK.”

If Scotland is a bit of a stretch, however, Nutini fans can catch the musician at this year’s Glastonbury and Latitude festivals, where he will be performing all his biggest hits. This summer looks set to be particularly busy for the New Shoes singer, as he will also be playing a string of dates in Germany.

In preparation for his hectic summer schedule, the Scottish crooner has a series of warm-up dates lined up, and it’s hoped that he’ll be testing out new material from his forthcoming album, the follow-up to 2009’s hugely successful Sunny Side Up.

Paolo Nutini tickets are now on sale for all his festival performances, as well as upcoming gigs in Aberystwyth, Blackburn, York and Sunderland.

New Paolo Nutini tickets for Aberystwyth gig announced By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn19 May 2011

Welsh fans of the Scottish crooner will be delighted to hear that fresh Paolo Nutini tickets will be going on sale tomorrow (Friday May 20) for his recently announced gig in Aberystwyth.

According to his official website, Paolo will be performing a “very special intimate show at Aberystwyth Arts Centre”, which is described as a “cosy campus venue” on June 6.

The gig will be one of four warm-up dates in preparation for Nutini’s festival-packed summer schedule. Not only will the New Shoes singer be performing on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury, he’ll also be headlining at this year’s Latitude and Rock Ness festivals.

Other cities included in his string of warm-up gigs include Sunderland, Blackburn and York – where his performance at the Barbican centre looks set to provide a significant boost to the venue’s fortunes.

Fans can expect to hear all the best-loved hits from Paolo’s four-times platinum albums These Streets and Sunny Side Up. In addition to tracks from his extensive back-catalogue, it has also been suggested that the soulful singer might include a few surprises in the form of new songs from his upcoming record, due for release later this year.

Paolo Nutini tickets are now on sale for all of his upcoming shows, so don’t miss out on your chance to see this critically acclaimed, Ivor Novello award-winning artist light up the stage live.

Paolo Nutini on tour: Paisley’s finest By: Greg Hall18 May 2011

There’s good news for lovers of a certain soulful, Scottish singer: Paolo Nutini tickets are now on sale for his 2011 tour.

Paisley, the town that the husky-voiced troubadour hails from, was voted the eighth most musical place in the UK by the PRS (Performing Rights Society) in 2010 – and with the amount of toe-tapping and thigh-slapping tunes Nutini has come up with since his 2006 debut, it’s hardly a shock.

For all those keen geographers out there, Paisley is situated in the county of Renfrewshire, in the west central lowlands of Scotland – and it’s also a hotbed of talent. The late Gerry Rafferty who wrote the iconic tunes ‘Stuck in the Middle with you’ and ‘Baker Street’ was also from there. So is actor David Tennant, who is probably best known for his Tardis-related shenanigans as Doctor Who.

Those with Paolo Nutini tickets would probably agree that the 24-year-old has become the biggest star from the region, however. From Belgium to Benacassim, the goosebump-inducing magic that the singer-songwriter conjures up is sure to be the highlight of many a music fan’s summer.

His shows are steeped in the fine tradition of musical greats. His second album, 2009’s ‘Sunny Side Up’ was an elemental fusion of genres, inspired by artists like Bob Marley, The Specials, Otis Redding and John Martyn.

As he explained in a recent interview with In The News: “I think these are people whose music should be embedded in everybody, or at least all music lovers’ heads.”

Paolo Nutini: New Shoes and a new tour By: Greg Hall17 May 2011

From Glastonbury to Turkey, Paolo Nutini tickets are hot to trot this summer.

Recently dubbed ‘Paolo Fatini’ by the Scottish Sun, who published a holiday photo that was more ‘Benidorm’ than ‘Baywatch’, those hoping to see the chic crooner in concert certainly won’t have slim pickings in the coming months.

After his string of shows in Germany this May, the tour returns to British shores with a bang in June. Starting at King George’s Hall in Blackburn on June 2nd, the man with new shoes and (hopefully) new material will be at the Barbican, York on the 3rd and the Empire, Sunderland on the 4th.

With his exciting schedule and Paolo Nutini tickets flying around, surely the man, who has eclipsed David Sneddon as Paisley’s finest export, will be back to his old lean mean self.

Fans with an eye for a festival will be delighted to hear that he’s scheduled to appear on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury on the 25th of June. Those who love their festivities abroad will be able to catch the floppy-haired Romeo at Benicassim in Spain, on the 14th July.

Lovers of the lad from the lowlands can expect the same pulsating, blistering, spine-tingling performances when they see him live. His hunger to perform is far greater than anything else, regardless of what the tabloids say.

With work on a new album underway expect a few surprise songs, but with a bursting back-catalogue in his pocket from 2006’s ‘These Streets’ and 2009’s ‘Sunny Side Up’, getting some Paolo Nutini tickets from Seatwave is sure to make it a sweet, sing-along summer in 2011.

Paolo Nutini boosts UK record sales By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn16 May 2011

Profits from the sale of Paolo Nutini tickets are helping to boost the prospects of flagging UK venues like York’s Barbican Centre – and sales of his 2009 Sunny Side Up album are still earning money for the UK music industry, almost two years after its release.

Music Week recently published its league table ranking UK A&R albums performance for the first quarter of 2011, which ranks record companies according to the number of current albums they have sold by UK-signed acts. According to Music Week:

“A year ago, Atlantic opened its 2010 account from a UK roster perspective in impressive fashion when Paolo Nutini’s Sunny Side Up returned to number one and its home-grown success story has continued strongly at the beginning of 2011 but across a greater number of releases.”

Although Nutini’s second album reportedly played “a lesser role” this year, strong sales from Plan B and Rumer have also helped Atlantic to a strong position.

Sunny Side Up, first released in July 2009, has been certified platinum four times and included the hit singles Candy and Pencil Full of Lead. It was the follow-up to Nutini’s hugely successful debut These Streets, which has also gone platinum four times – making the Scottish singer one of the most successful male artists in the UK.

Fans who would like to hear him perform his hits live on stage can buy Paolo Nutini tickets now for the upcoming Latitude and Rock Ness festivals, where he will be headlining this summer.

Paolo Nutini helps revive the York Barbican By: Lauren Johnson-Ginn13 May 2011

Paolo Nutini tickets are currently on sale for the Scottish singer’s upcoming show at the York Barbican Centre in June, and the council is hoping that the venue, which has played host to the likes of Pulp and Paul Weller, will prove to be a big earner this year.

After opening in 1991, the Barbican – which cost £15m to build and boasted two swimming pools, an outdoor bowling green, dance studios and a concert hall – closed in 2004, after it failed to deliver profits. The venue’s fortunes took a turn for the better, however, when the City of York council struck a deal with entertainment company SMG, who then invested £2m in its redevelopment.

The dance studios and swimming pools are now gone, but the concert hall is officially back in business and has already attracted some big names, including Morrissey. Nick Reed of SMG said:

“We have already announced concerts by the likes of Paolo Nutini and David Gray and the response has confirmed what we already knew – there is a real appetite for live music. There has been a trend in recent years that as sales of singles and albums have declined; interest in live tours has increased.”

Nutini fans can enjoy all his best-loved hits in the fantastic setting of the revamped Barbican on June 3, and tickets are also now on sale for the New Shoes singer’s upcoming summer festival dates – this year he’ll be performing at Glastonbury, Latitude and Rock Ness.
