Lee Mack
Lee Mack is best known for his roles in the popular sitcom “Not Going Out” and for his part as team captain on the hugely popular panel show “Would I Lie to You”. Like other british comedians such as John Bishop he came to prominence after winning “So You Think Your Funny” in 1995. Just a year prior to that he performed his first comedy open mic night while attending Brunel University, just a year and a half later he had left education to pursue his career in entertainment. Lee Mack has also featured on the original series (on radio) of The Mighty Boosh, and presented the final series of “They Think its All Over”, he has hosted three episodes of the perennial “Have I Got News for You” and featured on Live at the Apollo under Jack Dee’s tenure, and since Jack Left he has also hosted his own episode. Lee Mack is currently touring the UK with his new standup show called Going Out, which he penned when the sitcom Not Going Out was cancelled, however it was picked up for another series before this tour had even commenced, making Lee now one of the busiest comedians on the UK circuit, hosting panel shows, appearing as guest presenters, and starring in a sitcom along with his gruelling tour schedule.
