Joe Satriani
Joseph (Joe) Satriani is considered by many to be one of the greatest guitarists of all time. His career has spanned the last four decades and he has played with a number of the world’s best known artists including Mick Jagger, Deep Purple, Steve Vai, Brian May, Paul Gilbert and many others. He also plays lead guitar at present in his Supergroup Chickenfoot, in which he plays alongside Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony and Chad Smith. According to Satriani, he is heavily influenced by other rock/blues guitarists such as Hendrix, Clapton, Page and Beck. He himself attributes his whole career to Jimi Hendrix as he took up the guitar shortly after hearing of the death of Hendrix. Joe Satriani has released a total of fifteen solo albums, and has also been nominated fifteen times for Grammy Awards, and famously has never won one, making him the second most successful US artist of all time to not win a prestigious Grammy. Despite also having one Platinum and four Gold records, Satriani has never had a solo number one album, however he did reach the coveted top spot in Australia with his collaboration with Crowded House in 1987. Joe Satriani tickets are still in hot demand across the world with his solo tour cementing his reputation as one of the best guitarists ever to take up the instrument, and playing exclusively on his Ibanez JS series guitar built to his specifications and endorsed by him for sale worldwide he is truly a master of the six strings. If you haven’t seen Joe Satriani on tour before now is your opportunity to snap up some tickets and see the master live in concert. Joe Satriani is also a well known philanthropist, being an official supporter of Little Kids Rock, a non profit that provides children with instruments and instruction within schools in inner city area’s throughout the United States. He also sits on the board of directors for the charity “Raffle” alongside Steve Vai, whom he taught guitar to when still in school in Long Island.
