          Foo Fighters

          Foo Fighters

In 1994 following the tragic death of Kurt Cobain, one of the greatest bands of the last few decade's split up. Nirvana provided us with lashings of the finest songs in Rock history, and went on to define a whole musical genre of its own, giving the world Grunge. The Foo Fighters were born, out of the then Nirvana drummer's side project - which he had been covertly recording demo's for. Dave Grohl has over the decade and a half interim gone on himself to be one of the worlds most recognisable and celebrated rock musicians with a sound that was all his own. Despite originally considering asking Krist Novoselic to join up with him, Grohl never did and the two went their seperate ways but all of that is about to change. For the first time in its history, the Foo Fighters will also feature the co-founder of Nirvana in its lineup for the forthcoming album and tour. The re-unification of these two great artists is an incredible lineup and here at seatwave we are really excited about seeing the new concert tour. Initially the Foo Fighters are only planning a few UK dates so make sure you set aside the time to go and see these two masters of the rock/grunge era playing live together since the dissolution of Nirvana, it promises to be one of those rare "where were you" moments in musical history. Foo Fighters tickets are available right here on seatwave.com, Europe's largest fan to fan ticket exchange where every seat is guaranteed with our exclusive commitments to you, so that you can be assured of absolute integrity. If you want to see the Foo Fighters UK Tour then make sure you get your tickets today!

Concert was pretty good but didn't live up to my expectations. Hadn't been to Milton Keynes Bowl before and I won't be going again. Poor sound quality /rolling sound I guess because of the "bowl". It sounded patchy and unbalanced, couldn't hear vocals at times, couldn't hear guitar clearly at others. I love these songs and wanted to really enjoy them. Didn't seem to have this problem at Wembley.

This is what is rock band should be. Three guitars, heavy drums and a long-hair beltin it out for 2.5 hours. Long made this god like genius of rock live!

got tickets to their last two tours - at the o2 and Wembley. Milton Keynes is a little far out for me but what the hell - Dave Grohl is my god and with potentially Krist on bass as well - whoa - to good to miss!

Milton Keynes Bowl Astonishingly, 20 years after Nevermind, Nirvana's backroom boy is leader of one of the world's biggest hard rock bands. This weekend, Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters played to 130,000 people at Milton Keynes, but their set was as much a confirmation of their current standing as a celebration of their 17-year history , featuring numerous songs from new album Wasting Light, which went to No 1 across most of the world. It's clear Grohl has been galvanised by the album's success: the...
