          Faithless

          Faithless

Alongside their contemporaries, The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, Groove Armada and Underworld, Faithless were one of the new breed of dance super groups that exploded in the mid nineties and went on to become house hold names across the live music world. Think of a famous festival brand worldwide, they’ve headlined it multiple times over and have been a driving force in British music over the last fifteen years, bringing dance music out of the small clubs and into the huge arenas and main festival stages. They have sold a staggering 12 million records world wide since forming in London in 1995. Faithless have a spine of three members, Brixton born Vocalist Maxi Jazz, formerly know as Maxwell Fraser on vocals, Dido’s big brother – Rowland Armstrong aka Rollo on the behind the board production and Ayalah Bentovim aka Sister Bliss behind the 1’s and 2’s. They have three absolute stand out singles that have rocketed them to global fame and can be expected to be heard in the encore of all of their live sets, “God is a DJ”, “We Come 1” and perhaps there biggest single “Insomnia”. They are now working on their 7th album and have been in the privileged position to also release a Greatest hits, how many dance acts can say that these days? They returned to Glastonbury this year for the first time in eight long years and absolutely rocked the pyramid stage and had their performance shown live on the BBC’s coverage of the event. What can you expect to see when you buy Faithless tickets and make it to one of their live shows? An experience like few others, a combination of rumbling bass, harping synths, an incredible light and laser show and an atmosphere of a pure party. One of the true great bands of the last fifteen years, we love Faithless and wish them all the luck as they continue to blaze a trail for British dance music. Buy Faithless tickets today and have the time of your life!

Hi all i went to the Brixton Acedemy Faithless Concert lAST NIGHT 07/04/2011 with a couple of friends expecting the Best show in ages, the visual lighting was Great, but the sound crew need their asses kicking big time, quite a number of people left early on because the sounds were so badly distorted, you could hardly make out what Maxi was singing because of the vibrations. The sound at ACEDEMY was that bad, i went for a drink upstairs to get away from the Niose,i was based in the stalls area and even the Bar staff were aware how bad the Distortion really was and nothing was done to improve the quality of the sound system all night. Now i've seen these guys at Wembly Arena and they were great, but this venue and the sounds system spoilt a good night out for quite a few of us. I'm a big fan and had to stand well back at the back of the stalls area close to the Disabled area, so i could put up with the bad distortion, sorry to complain but the sound crew spoilt a good night out by not doing a Proper sound check. It was that bad. I love Faithless music but was let down by the overly-loud distorted sound system i do hope they get it sorted by tonight 08/04/2011
