He looks like the nerdy American guy next door... but boy can this lad sing. Former front man of Ben Folds Five, the shaggy haired muso wowed us with his piano, song writing and performing skills. He attracted indie kids with 'Underground' and caused 'Brick' induced soppy moments aplenty but is said to have described the old band as "punk rock for sissies". Now, watch him adjust his glasses and step on stage as a successful solo artist. He's renowned for inviting audience members to play along and is likely to create a new song or two live on stage. The last was the impromptu creation of rap track "Rock This B****", dedicated to Steve Irwin in Australia. Be there to see what he comes up with next.
