Ballet Preljocaj:Snow White

2 stars; a couple of thoughts come to mind after sitting through this; "amature" and "cheeseball"! With bad choreography, a poor choice of costumes (bright neon orange suspenders, costumes that make a large woman look fat), not so spectacular performances (the picture you see associated with this Ballet -women on their tiptoes, is is not the graceful Ballet they perform), over weight leads (both Snow White and her step mother), a bad choice of music, graceful isn't a word that comes close after seeing this...it just didn't flow. We were 3 rows from the stage center at Sadler's Wells (row BB, seats 18-19); and even with those great seats this was a dismal performance and an over hyped mess. Waste time getting into London to see this and money...we just wanted it to end!
