Site Conversion Manager

 

Position: Site Conversion Manager

Core Function
Reporting to the Marketing Director, the SCM will be responsible for achieving conversion and retention targets, for all Seatwave regions across web, mobile and tablet. In collaboration with the regions, the SCM will be responsible for creating the strategy for site performance and then deploying this at a regional level. The SCM will also be required to work with the online marketing channels - predominantly SEO, social & affiliate marketing as well as the supply and content teams in order to drive growth in these areas and manage best practice across the full suite of online channels.
Responsibilities:
• Management and growth of seatwave's site conversion rate & site experience across all channels, all platforms and territories, working in unison with the regions and the product management teams
• A full audit of the seatwave user journey identifying key areas of drop off and sub optimal pages within the experience with recommendations of optimisation.
• Delivering a strategy for a frictionless customer experience on site and analysing any user issues in real time.
• Developing an analysis and reporting framework for the conversion of the Seatwave properties
• Working with the Seatwave marketing team at a channel level to identify conversion increase opportunities and implementing any recommendations
• Developing key initiative to increase revenue per user on seatwave through recommendations to user journey and site stickiness
• Analysing bounce rate on a page by page basis and developing recommendations to reduce bounce rate across the site
• Developing and managing key A/B tests across the seatwave journey to develop  key learnings that can then be implemented across the seatwave platforms
• Responding to a constantly moving market place based on price, availability and user demand
• Producing daily, weekly and annual performance reporting with timelines and proposed conversion lifting activities
Skills/Experience:
Essentials
• A minimum of  3years relevant experience in the online optimisation and experience space
• A practical knowledge of the suite of online marketing channels including pppc,  seo, partner marketing, crm marketing and social media channels either client side or with an agency.
• Advanced knowledge of market leading web analytics and analysis tools.
• An active enjoyment of the Entertainment scene with a special emphasis on concerts, festivals, sports and theatre
• An expert knowledge of excel to be used in data compilation and analysis
Desirable
• Fluency in additional European languages would be viewed as an advantage to any applicant
• A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required especially Excel, additional applications in design, schedule management, or development would be an added bonus
Other:
• A hard working team player with an internal drive will help the successful candidate hit their targets
