Core Function
Reporting to the Marketing Director, the SEOM will
be responsible for achieving traffic, search engine positions &
sales targets, for all Seatwave regions, through the SEO marketing
channels. In collaboration with the regions, the SEOM will be
responsible for creating the SEO strategy and also then deploying
this at a regional level. The SEOM will also be required to work
with the other online marketing channels - predominantly paid
search, social & affiliate marketing in order to drive growth
in these areas and manage best practice across the full suite of
online channels.
Responsibilities:
Definition & execution of
Seatwave's SEO strategy including targets, content, linking, onsite
changes and technology required.
Management and growth of seatwave's
natural search channels across all key search engines and
territories, working in unison with the regions and the product
management teams
Producing technical recommendations
for the seatwave product team and then working with members within
that team to make any required changes
Accurately assessing current SEO
marketing performance for all seatwave regions and identifying
growth and optimisation opportunities
Across the current SEO activity,
accurately assessing current performance by conducting an in depth
review of on and off page performance - including code and content
structure, internal linking strength and off page performance &
evaluating number and quality of current links.
Defining a framework to assess
performance through the use of analytics, market and marketing data
- with particular focus on understanding roi on activity and
address the gap between seatwave and competitors
Deploying a set of changes across
SEO channels, across all regions, to the agreed timescales and
quality
Ongoing management of the SEO channels to achieve
regional sales targets
Effective management of any appointed SEO
agencies
Managing external partnerships for both content
and in bound links to the seatwave network of sites
Working with the seatwave content team and PR
agency to develop additional content around news and relevant
data
Working with the social team to recommend best
practices around social integration and sharing
Maximising use of user generated content on the
seatwave network of sites for maximium SEO benefit.
Working alongside the other members of the
seatwave marketing team to support optimisation &
management of seatwave's social media, partner and crm marketing
channels
Managing relationships with external networks,
tools and suppliers
Responding to a constantly moving market place
based on price, availability and user demand
Producing daily, weekly and annual performance
reporting across all channels to include SEO health checks
Skills/Experience:
Essentials
A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in
the SEO space with additional desirable experience in ppc, crm
& social either client side or with an agency.
A clear and demonstrable record of prior success,
being to provide evidence of previous success SEO in a competitive
landscape.
Good solid understanding of the technical aspects
of SEO to be communicated on both a marketing and development
level.
Expert level experience of using Web
Analytics and SEO measurement tools.
* Strong understanding of SEO practice and
methodology including architectural and design competencies,
content and writing knowledge, and off-page link and promotion
understanding.
An active enjoyment of the Entertainment scene
with a special emphasis on concerts, festivals, sports and
theatre
An expert knowledge of excel to be used in data
compilation and analysis
Desirable
Fluency in additional European languages would be
viewed as an advantage to any applicant
A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
applications required especially Excel, additional applications in
design, schedule management, or development would be an added
bonus
Some knowledge of programming languages such as
PHP or .NET would be viewed as an advantage, though not
essential.
Other:
A hard working team player with an internal drive
