Position: PPC Manager

Reports To: Marketing Director

Core Function
Reporting to the Marketing Director, the PPCM will
be responsible for achieving sales targets, for all Seatwave
regions, through the paid search marketing channels. In
collaboration with the regions, the PPCM will be responsible for
creating the paid search engine strategy and then deploying this at
a regional level. The PPCM will also be required to work with the
other online marketing channels - predominantly SEO, social &
affiliate marketing in order to drive growth in these areas and
manage best practice across the full suite of online
channels.
Responsibilities:
Management and growth of seatwave's
paid search channels across all platforms and territories, working
in unison with the regions and the product management teams
Accurately assessing current search
marketing performance for all seatwave regions and identifying
growth and optimisation opportunities
Across the current PPC activity,
accurately assessing current performance by conducting an in depth
review of the keyword coverage and match strategy, account
structure and set up, optimisation parameters, ad copy and landing
page testing methodology.
Defining a framework to assess
performance through the use of analytics, market and marketing data
- with particular focus on understanding roi on activity and
address the gap between seatwave and competitors
Deploying a set of changes across
the PPC channels, across all regions, to the agreed timescales and
quality
Ongoing management of the PPC
channels to achieve regional sales targets
Effective management of any PPC agencies &
external tools
Working alongside the other members of the
seatwave marketing team to support optimisation &
management of seatwave's social media, partner and crm marketing
channels
Responding to a constantly moving market place
based on price, availability and user demand
Producing daily, weekly and annual performance
reporting across all channels
Skills/Experience:
Essentials
A minimum of 3years relevant experience in
the online marketing space with an emphasis on ppc well as
experience in seo, partner marketing, crm marketing and social
media channels either client side or with an agency.
Able to provide evidence of previous success
within PPC and Online Marketing
Expert level experience of using Google Adwords,
web analytics tools, & bid tools.
An active enjoyment of the Entertainment scene
with a special emphasis on concerts, festivals, sports and
theatre
An expert knowledge of excel to be used in data
compilation and analysis
Desirable
Fluency in additional European languages would be
viewed as an advantage to any applicant
A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
applications required especially Excel, additional applications in
design, schedule management, or development would be an added
bonus
Some knowledge of programming languages such as
PHP or .NET would be viewed as an advantage, though not
essential.
Other:
A hard working team player with an internal drive
will help the successful candidate hit their targets
