How will I know when my tickets are sold?
Once your tickets sell, you will receive a sale confirmation email. The email will contain sale details, including instructions on how to send your tickets to the buyer. You can also check the status of any listing in My Account.
How do I know what to charge for my tickets?
Take a look at the data provided on the ‘Pricing Details’ page. In particular look at the most recent sales of tickets similar to yours and how many of your ticket type are remaining.
Can I cancel my listing at any time?
You can cancel your listing at any time before your tickets sell in My Account. You cannot delete a listing after the tickets have sold. If the tickets have sold, you must honour the transaction or your credit card will be charged for replacement tickets.
How should I send my tickets to the buyer?
Once you’re ready to send your tickets log in to My Account and choose one of the options available next to the listing.
For e-tickets click ‘Upload E-tickets’ next to the relevant listing. These tickets will then be dispatched to your buyer straight away.
For paper tickets you can send via UPS or Royal Mail.
UPS - select ‘Send by UPS’ next to the relevant listing to request a UPS courier collection at a time that suits you.
Royal Mail - Click ‘See Buyer’s Details’ below to see your buyer’s address. Send using Royal Mail Recorded First Class. Once dispatched you must enter the Royal Mail tracking number in the box provided. You will be reimbursed £2 for Royal Mail postage when you are paid for the sale.
If the buyer is located in another country then different rules may apply.
What happens if my tickets don’t sell?
If your tickets do not sell, and you have sent them to us using our collectfrom service, you can pick them up on the day of the event from a Seatwave collectfrom point.
When will I get paid for my sale?
Once the event has taken place, we process your payment. It takes approximately 10 working days for the credit to reach your account.
Is it legal to resell tickets?
The resale of tickets is completely legal in the UK, except for football tickets without the express co-operation of the football club.
How much does Seatwave charge for selling tickets?
It is free to list your tickets for sale on Seatwave. A 10% success fee, excluding VAT, will be deducted after your tickets sell.
How do I sell my tickets until the day of the event?
You are able to list until the day of the event using our collectrom service. To use this service you must send them into Seatwave. Buyers can then collect their ticket from a Seatwave collection point on the day of the event.
To list tickets for a collectfrom event, make sure you select the collectfrom option, or upgrade one of your eligible existing listings within My Account.
Send us your tickets via UPS (it's free!) by booking a collection or drop-off in My Account.
Once we receive your tickets, your listing will go live. And the hard work, if we could even call it that, is done. Sit back and relax while your tickets sell.
What is reducing price?
Ticket prices usually go down as an event approaches, by choosing Reducing price, you won’t have to manually change your price yourself. We’ll begin gradually reducing your sale price from the Start reducing price date you set.
To help keep your ticket price competitive and give them more of a chance to sell, we lower the price incrementally every day until your tickets sell or your minimum price is reached on the sale end date.
You can keep track of the current sale price by logging into My Account to track the sales price, click the link “View history” within your account.
